Ribbon Tie Hakama Pants take Japanese-inspired streetwear in a rounded direction. The legs billow outward before gathering near the ankles, creating a balloon-like silhouette rather than a straight, open hem. Long front ties add a vertical detail that contrasts with the curved shape of these voluminous trousers.

The ankle changes everything

With the volume collected above the shoes, Ribbon Tie has a distinctly different outline from flared hakama pants. The gathered hems make footwear easy to see, while the broad upper legs bring drama to an otherwise simple outfit. The hanging ties give the front another point of interest without relying on bold graphics.
